Admission Requirements
It is recommended applicants have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.75 (4.0 scale) with strong consideration given to grades earned in college preparatory courses.
An ACT composite score of 22 or higher or SAT score of 1100 or higher is recommended. Students who do not meet these guidelines will be considered if other supporting factors show potential for success.
In compliance with the North Dakota University System requirements for admission, students should present the following high school College Preparatory Requirements:4 units of English, 3 units of mathematics (at the level of algebra I and above), 3 units of laboratory science, 3 units of social science, and 1 unit from existing core subject area or world language

Scholarships
Scholarship Requirements
North Dakota State University is proud of the number of academically talented students who enter the university each year. Although the scholarship selection process is quite competitive, all interested students are encouraged to complete the scholarship application or contact the appropriate department for consideration.
Guaranteed Scholarships Priority Deadline: December 15, 2017
Students who have submitted all required application materials and meet required scholarship criteria as of the December 15 priority deadline are guaranteed one of the below scholarship awards at the time of admission. Students completing the application for admission after December 15 will be considered for scholarships on a funds-available basis.
32+ ACT or 1450+ SAT with a 3.5+ unweighted GPA receives $12,000 ($3,000/year for a maximum of four years)
29-31 ACT or 1350-1440 SAT with a 3.5+ unweighted GPA receives $10,000 ($2,500/year for a maximum of four years)
25-28 ACT or 1200-1340 SAT with a 3.5+ unweighted GPA receives $6,000 ($1,500/year for a maximum of four years)
Additional Named Scholarships Deadline: February 1, 2018
Students scoring a 24 or higher on the ACT (SAT equivalent of 1160) who have a 3.5 cumulative GPA (unweighted) are encouraged to apply for additional named scholarships.
