Admission Requirements
22 ACT, 1120 SAT, or 2.5 GPA, or rank in the top half of class; AND meet college preparatory requirements: 4 years English, 3 years math, 3 years social studies, 2 years lab science, 2 electives (minimum Math 22 ACT / 27.5 SAT and minimum Writing 18 ELA or 7 essay ACT / 25 SAT writing score required for 4 year programs).

Scholarship Requirements
New Student Scholarships (usually ranging from $300-$3,090) are awarded on the basis of academic merit; however, merit and financial need are criteria for some scholarships. Priority deadline of January 1.

Montana Resident Scholarships
Montana Western awards up to five Chancellors Leadership Scholars Awards each year to Montana residents. These are renewable full tuition scholarships.
Nonresident Scholarships
Montana Western participates in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarship. To be eligible students must be a resident of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. The priority deadline for the WUE Scholarship is July 1.
