Admission Requirements
ACT Composite Score of 22 or SAT total score of 1540 (Math + Verbal + Writing) OR Rank in the upper half of the graduating class OR Graduate High School with a minimum of 2.5 GPA AND ACT Math Score of 22 or SAT Math Score of 520 or equivalent or Minimum grades of C in each course of the High School Rigorous Core (including 4 years of Math, 3 years of Science) AND Achieve a minimum combined writing score of 18 on the ACT or 440 verbal on the SAT, OR Achieve a minimum writing subscore of 7 on the ACT or essay subscore of 7 on the SAT, OR Achieve a minimum score of 3.5 on the Montana University System Writing Assessment. Complete the College Preparatory Requirements for your state.

Scholarship Requirements
Montana Tech's priority scholarship deadline is December 15th. Scholarship application will not be released to you (via your PURL page) until you have submitted an admissions application. You may apply after December 15th, but we will make awards shortly after the deadline so you will miss out on many of the scholarships if you wait until after to apply. Scholarships are based solely on academic standing.
