Financial Aid
Financial Aid Requirements
The FAFSA school code for the University of Oregon is 003223.
Priority FAFSA Deadline
The University of Oregon's priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is March 1. Because some types of funding are limited, we recommend submitting your FAFSA as early as possible after January 1. The FAFSA allows you to use projected figures if your parents have not yet completed tax forms for the current year.
Students who submit the FAFSA after March 1 are still eligible for financial aid, but will not be considered for some funds. Aim to submit the FAFSA in January.
After you sucessfully complete the FAFSA (and include our university as a recepient), the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships will determine your eligibility for aid and send you a financial aid award letter in the spring.
All admitted incoming freshmen have until May 1st to accept an offer of admission (including students who applied before November 1st).
If you or your parents have questions about the FAFSA, call us at 1-800-BE-A-DUCK and we'd be happy to help.
For information about scholarships, please see the "Scholarships" tab --> to your right.
Scholarships
Scholarship Requirements
High school seniors are automatically considered for the vast majority of scholarships, if they apply for admission by January 15th. No separate application required; students will be automatically considered for most scholarships. If offered scholarships, students would be notified in the spring (potentially earlier, depending on the scholarship type).
The Diversity Excellence Scholarship and the National Merit Scholarship do require a separate application.
For details about all of our scholarships, please visit our scholarships page.
