When you are admitted to Pacific University, Freshmen are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships.
Freshmen Awards
FOUNDERS SCHOLARSHIP - $22,000
Recipients average a 4.0 GPA and combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 1380 or ACT score of 31.
HONORS AWARD - $19,000
Recipients average a 3.85 GPA and combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 1260 or ACT score of 28.
PRESIDENTIAL AWARD - $15,000
Recipients average a 3.6 GPA and combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 1140 or ACT score of 25.
TRUSTEE AWARD - $11,500
Recipients average a 3.39 GPA and combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 1070 or ACT score of 23.
UNIVERSITY AWARD - $10,500
Recipients average a 3.19 GPA and combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 1000 or ACT score of 21.

Academic Merit Scholarships
Pacific also offers MERIT-BASED awards (ranging from $10,500 to $22,000 a year) based on your application for admission.
Forensics
The Pacific University Speech Team offers a talent scholarship to incoming students. Scholarships are intended to award both past achievement and future potential in speech. First-years students and transfer students applying to Pacific University are eligible for these scholarships, which range from $500 per year to $2,500 per year.
Music
Offered to music and non-music majors. These talent awards range from $500 to $6,000 and are renewed annually as long as the student takes private lessons and performs in an appropriate large ensemble (Symphonic Band, Chamber Singers, or Choral Union). To apply, students must be admitted and audition in person or via tape or CD.

Theater/Dance
Passionate about theatre, dance, or both? Consider applying for a scholarship to pursue your art at Pacific! Students who qualify for Theatre & Dance Talent Scholarships receive $2,500 each year, for up to $10,000 during four years at Pacific (provided they remain involved in the programs). Students applying to Pacific as incoming freshmen are eligible for these scholarships.
Tom McCall Scholarship
Awarded to selected first-year undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences who show an interest in, and continue to engage in, public affairs. Awards are up to $2,500 and are renewable for an additional year. Visit the Tom McCall Scholarship Website for an application packet and more information.
Berglund Fellowships
The Berglund Center for Internet Studies at Pacific University requests proposals for three Berglund Fellowships for 2011-12. The Fellowships will be in the amount of $1,500 each, and the Fellowship awarded jointly to the Fellow and his or her School or Department. For more information, visit the Berglund Center website.
